POD: Before and After

After weeks of packing and purging and wasting days reading through 30 years of letters and photos, all my belongings and that of one ratty moo are neatly tucked into 1 POD. The movers are quite amazing and managed to do a fine Tetris job.


Thanks Gail for helping me during the last two days of frantic packing. Thanks Christine and mom for the home cook meals. Thanks the bis for your precious 3hours-15 boxes of book packing ;) but I have to finish the last 10 boxes though. All in all I have 97 boxes, including 25 boxes of books and 25 medium boxes of kitchen stuff. Actually there are more because I didn't count the wardrobes and suitcases of clothing. I practically lost all appetite of ever buying anything again. Of course, the next thing I need to do is to buy appliances, tiles, faucets, lights..., so much so for being frugal.
